Walking tour trough the streets of Venice to discover the roots of Venetian Cuisine, a fascinating and stimulating story that begins from the first lagoon recipes dating from the days when Venice was just one of the provinces of Byzantium, through the triumph of the spices brought by the Levant commerces, through a dizzying series of foreign influences, up to the kitchen of nowadays.
Exotic perfumes, bizarre recipes and curious habits at the table, will be tell in order to find out even this particular side of Venetian culture, never sufficiently unveiled, and in danger of extinction overwhelmed by rampant globalization of frozen food and pizzas.
During the tour some stops are planned in some bacari (typical Venetian taverns) where you can taste the famous cicchetti (finger-food) with a glass of wine, in the best local tradition.
All departure and arrival points are at a public service navigation stop.
In case of specific request, the guide may pick up the group at a different point with an additional cost.
The "Venetian Tours" are scheduled for minimum 2 persons up to 10.
